History of Missions for MARS

From more than a Half Century we are trying to know more and more about and we are expecting life there.
The First ever Mission for the Mars is by Soviet Union in 1960, somehow there is a Launch Failure in it.
The  First Successfull Mission to Mars was by NASA (United States) in 1964. That mission was named as MARINER4 and it is a Flyby mission. The first ORBITER Mission was Mariner 9 by NASA in 1971(entered mars orbit on 14 nov 1971, and lost after 516 days).
The  First Spacecraft to land on mars was VIKING 1 (1976), it is also by NASA
First Successful Mission to MARS by an Asian Country is MARS ORBITER MISSION by India on 5 November 2013 entered Mars Orbit on 24 September.

MARS ORBITER MISSION OR MANGALYAAN

It was the First INDIA’s Interplanetary Mission launchd on 5 November 2013 by Indian Space Research Organistion(ISRO), due to which the ISRO became the fourth Space Agency to reach Mars, after Soviet, US and European Space Agency. And there was a great fact that India became the First Nation to this in first Attempt.
The Mars Orbiter Mission was lifted-off from the Satish Dhawan Space CentreAndhra Pradesh, using a Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) rocket 5 November 2013.  After a 298-day transit to Mars, it was successfully inserted into Mars orbit on 24 September 2014.
The total cost of the mission was approximately US$73 million (₹450 crore).

The objective of the Mars Orbiter Mission is to show India’s rocket launch systems, spacecraft building and operations capabilities to the world and Exploration of Mars Surface, Study of Constituents using remote sensing Technique and observe the Moon Mars

Mission Type: Mars Orbiter
Oprator: ISRO
Duration: 1 year and 5 days ( 6month extended)
Spacecraft Launch Mass: 1,337 kg
Dimension : 1.5m or 4.9feet (cube)
Power: 840 Watts
Launch Site: Satish Dhawan FLP
The Mars Orbiter Mission team won US-based National Space Society‘s 2015 Space Pioneer Award in the science and engineering category. US-NSS appreciates ISRO for their images taken by their spacecraft. ISRO plans to launch a followup mission called Mangalyaan2 with more scientific payload to Mars between 2018 and 2020. This mission will likely consist of a Lander and a Mars rover.
WATER ON MARS
On 28 September 2015, NASA claimed evidence of water on Mars – not water in the distant past, but in the contemporary life of the red planet, a step toward identifying possible life on Mars.”
Everyone who watched Cartoons, animated shows, Movies over Mars can imagine a creature with large eyes and large heads, but may be it is possible that only small microorganisms are present there, most of the files are still unsealed.
Let’s talk about the trend news, NASA has definite evidence that water is existing on Mars atleast in the Summers, they didn’t see water flowing, but they saw precipitate of salt which came due to evaporation of water, except this NASA experienced some phenomenon which are only possible with water. It is not a new story for those who are in touch with the news of Mars, we claiming the evidence of water on Mars by some years, but now we are much more confident.
Like Earth Mars too doesn’t have possibility of life everywhere, but atlest at some small portion life expectancy is claimed by the Scientists.
The Question arise in everyone’s mind is that if there is a life on Mars, then what kind of species is living on Mars,  Till Date no Human being is landed on the surface of Mars, but is under planning by 2033.  Everyone on Earth is waiting for the revealing of Mars Files.

NO INVESTIGATION FOR WATER ON MARS

NASA has discover water on Mars, but inspite of this they can’t investigate/test water on Mars. They also maintain 50 km distance between their rover and water.
Ø  Bacteria of Earth Spread on Mars – NASA didn’t let their rover near to water because if they did it so the bacteria and microorganism of Earth will rapidly spread in the atmosphere of Mars through water. Due to this it will became difficult to distinguish between the bacteria of Earth and Mars, and the investigation will became waste in future. The rovers are cleaned in the oven when they were sent to mars, but scientists are not sure about this that the rover is bacteria free.
Ø  Now how investigation will done? – Now NASA will send Flying Rover to Mars so that they will travel more distance since all the rovers which were send in past are very slow(they travel 200m per day). At present there are two Rovers on Mars(many were sent before but only two are left active till now).
Ø  “Opportunity” is the spacecraft who spends most time on Mars and travel most Distance. This rover travels 26m mile or 46 kilometers in 11 years. It gives the information about life expectancy at some time in the year.
