International Tea Day 15th December 2016
In 2015, the Indian government proposed expanding the observance of International Tea Day through the UN Food and Agriculture Organization.
That’s a lot of tea and in a sense everyday is National Tea Day, but tea is so much more than a drink, it brings people together and gets them talking in the morning, chattering in the afternoon and dunking biscuits in the evening.
In 3 words NTD is about tea (obviously), community and fun. It is an opportunity for you to try new blends which you wouldn’t otherwise. It is an opportunity for dances and afternoon tea’s to take place across the country.
